No.
The Condor gets all its necessary GPS data (base station ID, time
and date) by demodulating the sync channel.

Does
Condor requires a laptop to scan?
Condor
does not need a laptop PC to operate as all of its vital functions
are displayed on the built-in LCD and controllable via menus and
a single push knob. However, a laptop PC is still recommended for
any serious CDMA studies in order to store vital data and parameters.
