Octas Multi-Band Receiver System

The Octas™ is a portable test system designed especially for measuring and analyzing propagation for land mobile radio systems. It can be configured with up to eight receivers for measuring and recording signal strength and positional data simultaneously. All receivers are fed from a common antenna via a unity-gain RF multiplexer. Each receiver is fed a filtered and isolated signal which is ideal for simulcast measurements.

• Differential 8-channel Global Position System (GPS), LORAN receiver
• Recorded data is stored on internal memory as well as on a removable 2MB PCMCIA memory card (battery-backed SRAM) for post-processing and mapping
• RS-232 port for direct downloading of data to a PC
• Remote LCD dashboard display
• Built-in program to provide precision auto calibration with Marconi and HP signal generators
• 10 bit precision A/D converters for ±0.5dB accuracy
