Hummingbird PN Scanner

The Hummingbird™ is a lightweight, handheld PN scanner ideally suited for indoor microcell IS-95 analysis. High speed architecture measures, stores and reports all 512 PN offsets in less than a second. Data can be downloaded and displayed in realtime on any laptop PC via the built-in RS-232 port. The Hummingbird demodulates sync channel and reports base station ID, time and date all without use of a GPS. A lithium-ion battery and removable ATA Flash storage make the Hummingbird a powerful walk-about CDMA tool.

Hummingbird Data Logger Hummingbird Data Logger
Hummingbird Data Logger Hummingbird Data Logger
The Hummingbird Data Logger™ is a software conversion utility written for the Hummingbird PN scanner. All data collected from the Hummingbird PN scanner is gathered either through the removeable ATA flash card or via serial cable connection and then converted for post-processing using this software. In addition, can parameters and statistics such as base station sweeps, single base station sweep and threshold sweeps can be logged and displayed.

Hummingbird FAQs
Does Hummingbird require a GPS antenna to function?
No. The Hummingbird gets all its necessary GPS data (base station ID, time and date) by demodulating the sync channel.

How long will Hummingbird run on a single charge?
It varies but 8 hours of run time with the backlight on is typical.
