Lizard Portable Microcell Transmitter
The Lizard™ is a compact, battery-powered 1 watt CW (Continuous Wave) stimulus transmitter housed in a ruggedized case. Lizard’s lightweight, small footprint and user interface make it the ideal candidate for indoor microcell network verification, installation and evaluation. In a typical application, one or more Lizards are placed throughout an area of interest and set to transmit on different channels while engineers “walk-through” the area with scanning receivers such as Berkeley’s Coyote™ or Mongoose™. The Lizard™ has dynamically adjustable output from 1 milliwatt up to 1 watt from either it’s onboard keypad/LCD interface or via an included infrared remote control. Standard removable Makita 9.6 V Ni-MH batteries ensure continuous, remote operation. The Lizard™ has become the field engineer’s transmitter of choice when portability, reliability and utility top the list of demands.
