Yellowjacket-Ultra™ Wi-Fi security analysis tool is a handheld analyzer that detects, analyzes and locates hidden or rogue Wi-Fi clients and access points. The ultra-sensitive receiver analyzes and directionally locates 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz spectrum and demodulated packets that should not be found in secured or confidential areas including government/correctional/testing facilities, SCIFs, board rooms, medical centers and more. Yellowjacket-Ultra’s touchscreen interface, closed loop charging/data system and included directional finding antenna ensures users to securely collect data for wireless audits, penetration testing and regular security sweeps.

Yellowjacket-Ultra enables high resolution direction finding for both client devices and access points through a highly sensitive receiver, wideband direction finding antenna and software optimized for pinpointing wireless threats. Users can create customized whitelists allowing daily sweeps by any security personnel. All logged data is stored internally but requires special software to prevent exfiltration as well as a physical switch allowing USB-C charging but not any data transfer unless the user explicitly wants this. This ensures data integrity throughout the entire wireless audit process.

Advanced features include ‘active ping’ which wakes up hidden Wi-Fi devices, forcing them to communicate and to be located. ‘Evil twin’ warnings alert users to the possibility of malicious access points or clients mimicking friendly devices in order to surreptitiously attack networks.
